We are expanding our team and seeking a talented and enthusiastic Senior Cabinetmaker to join the team.
This is a unique opportunity to work on some of the UK’s most exclusive residential projects, collaborating with renowned architects and interior designers in a supportive and creative environment.
What you'll do
- Translate design drawings into tangible, meticulously crafted cabinetry and furniture pieces.
- Utilise a range of woodworking machinery and hand tools with precision and efficiency.
- Uphold the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship in all aspects of production.
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of various materials and their applications in cabinetry and furniture making.
- Continuously seek innovative techniques and materials to enhance the quality and aesthetics of our products.
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Effectively communicate with colleagues, providing clear instructions and guidance when necessary.
- Oversee the training and development of our apprentice cabinetmakers.
- Employ excellent problem-solving skills to address challenges that may arise during the production process.
- Adapt quickly to changing project requirements and priorities to maintain workflow efficiency.
About you
- Minimum 5 years of experience in cabinetmaking.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting design drawings and plans.
- Familiarity with woodworking machinery and hand tools, with a demonstrated ability to operate them safely and effectively.
- Knowledge of design software such as Solidworks, SketchUp or AutoCAD is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
