You will determine machining requirements, tooling, and sequential operations to achieve the best results, whilst also assisting with machine setup and testing, and performing test runs.
Managing tooling databases, you will ensure correct tool selection and support operators to maintain tight dimensional and aesthetic tolerances across all components.
Additionally, you will:
- Maintain a structured and up-to-date library of all CNC programs and setup sheets
- Recommend improvements to machining processes, tooling, and programming standards
- Ensure all machine parameters, zero-points, and tool offsets are correctly set
- Support quality control activities
- Assist in maintaining optimal safety, quality, and efficiency throughout production
About you

- Proficiency in CAD/CAM software for design review and program generation
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to precision and quality control
- Strong analytical and mathematical aptitude for calculating feeds, speeds and clearances
